What would you most like help with?

Two safety questions come first.

Do you currently have sudden or severe testicular pain, rapidly developing swelling, nausea associated with testicular pain, fever or feel acutely unwell?
Have you noticed a new testicular lump, hardness or significant change in the size or shape of a testicle?

Severe semen abnormality, test feasibility concern or another individual requirement

Urgent medical assessment

Acute pain, rapid swelling or another urgent scrotal concern

CMFH is not an emergency service. For sudden severe testicular pain, significant swelling after an injury, or symptoms that feel urgent, call 111 or attend urgent care. Call 999 in a life-threatening emergency. A new testicular lump or persistent change should be assessed promptly by a GP or appropriate clinician.

Know Your Numbers is likely to be the most proportionate starting point. It combines a fresh comprehensive semen analysis with your hormone and metabolic results and a clinician-reviewed report. It does not include a consultation, examination or ultrasound. If your results identify a concern, we will explain the most useful next step.

Wording awaited

Fertility Foundations is likely to be the most appropriate next step. It combines semen and blood results with a 45-minute specialist consultation, an objective assessment of testicular health and a plan tailored to you.

Future Fatherhood may provide the broader investigation your history or priorities warrant. It combines the core clinical assessment with scrotal Doppler ultrasound, COMET Extensive sperm DNA testing and seminal oxidative-stress testing. The results are interpreted together during a 45-minute consultation.

Future Fatherhood is freely self-bookable after the suitability questions. More testing does not guarantee that a cause will be found, and known severe male-factor results require clinical review before advanced sperm tests are accepted.

We use suitable recent results where we can and explain what each investigation adds. The aim is a purposeful assessment, not the largest possible collection of tests.

The lower price applies when you already have suitable recent hormone and metabolic blood results. CMFH-direct prices include the equivalent blood panel and phlebotomy.

Fertility Foundations combines your results with a 45-minute consultation and an objective assessment of reproductive anatomy.

    Compare the two pathways

Choose an in-person consultation with a focused examination, with the option to add an ultrasound beforehand, or a distance pathway that includes a scrotal Doppler ultrasound.

    Included in both pathways

    Fresh comprehensive laboratory semen analysis

Review of suitable recent hormone and metabolic blood results

Detailed fertility, medical, sexual-health and lifestyle questionnaire

45-minute consultation with a male fertility doctor

Integrated interpretation of your semen, blood and clinical findings

Personalised recommendations and a tailored written plan

    In-person pathway

Your 45-minute consultation includes a focused male fertility examination.

    Optional ultrasound before your consultation

You can add a specialist scrotal Doppler ultrasound before your appointment if you have persistent or recurrent scrotal discomfort, concerns about a possible structural problem or would like a more detailed assessment of your testicular health. The scan measures testicular size, examines the testes, epididymides and surrounding structures, assesses blood flow and looks for features such as a varicocele. Because the scan is completed beforehand, its findings will be interpreted alongside your other results and discussed during your consultation.

    Ultrasound recommended after your consultation

Sudden or severe testicular pain requires urgent medical assessment and should not wait for a routine fertility appointment.

    Distance pathway

Before your online consultation, you will have a specialist scrotal Doppler ultrasound. The scan measures testicular size, examines the testes, epididymides and surrounding structures, assesses blood flow and looks for features such as varicocele.

An ultrasound cannot assess every feature of a physical examination. We may still recommend an in-person examination if your history, results or scan identify a clinical concern.
